"If you're going to be passionate about something,
be passionate about learning"
Hi, I'm Adam. Ever since I was young, I've been both creative and analytical as well. It took me a while to figure out how to use them both together so I didn't have to choose one at the expense of the other.
I've studied computer programming, design, music, business, accounting, foreign languages, and more. I am constantly learning, absorbing new information, sorting and filtering it all, and connecting people to the information, resources, and people that can help them.
"We are drowning in information, while starving for wisdom" - E. O. Wilson
You may be familiar with specialists. I'm not a specialist, and that's actually good news. Here's why: "Polymath" is Greek for "having learned much", it is "a person whose expertise spans a significant number of different subject areas; such a person is known to draw on complex bodies of knowledge to solve specific problems." I'm a polymath as well as an autodidact (self-directed learner).
I can solve problems that the specialists can't, because I approach problem solving with the wisdom and experience of many different realms to get unique perspectives and solutions. I see things others don't, and make connections others can't. I found my knack in curation, and I am passionate about sharing the highlights of what I learn.
My personal motto at present is "learn, connect, inspire".
