This project is titled "Subterranean". That was actually the first title that was conceived of for it, but many other ideas were considered. The deciding factor was once demos had been recorded, that title fit the best.

There are a couple of demos up on myspace. The premise behind this project was an experiment and a challenge to myself. Mostly I wanted to reverse the lead guitar and bass, so most of the basslines are like lead guitar parts (minus distortion) and the guitar is tuned very low and plays riffs like basslines. There is some deviation but that's the idea. 6 songs for this project are written with more ideas in the works.

Trivia: Originally this project was titled "Wheyl", somewhat in homage to Mastodon, though only in name and not in style. The project was going to be known as "Wheyl - Weight for the Wait" but 'weight for the wait' simply became a track title.
