As a youth, I was painfully awkward and shy. I figured out that I would lose out on a lot of opportunities if I couldn't communicate well, so I made a concerted effort to work on that. The better I got at talking, the more I wanted to do it, despite being an introvert at heart. These days, I am frequently mistaken for an extrovert. I am always looking for more opportunities to engage and connect with people in meaningful ways.
